Kja new project

Post by sidsuzuki2346 » Sun Jan 06, 2019 7:12 pm

I'm thinking of buying a kja that's been in storage since 2005 it needs welding but from what I've seen it's salvageable. The only problem is I've been offered two that I don't really wanna store, the other one is extremely rotten but has some good spares on it. It would be interesting to know what parts are specific to the kja because if its all normal 413 bits then they're not that difficult to source meaning an extra truck for spares wouldn't be crucial. Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers :D

My advice is get both, I looked for ages for one, now it seems there's a few about and ones up for sale

Kja chassis rust so be careful with that, the rear prop, fuel tank, seats, spare wheel holder, cab bed and chassis are all kja specific, if you bought one and had what you needed off it I'd be interested in what you didn't want, be cool to see pics man !

I've heard the chaseis do rot and yes It does make sense to try and get both really, if I get them and end up with bits left I will give you a shout. Also what would you expect to pay for one? Thanks for the info.
