Back to Suzuki - SZ5 Vitara

Post by Kkeithp » Sun Sep 08, 2019 7:50 pm

Hi all, coming back to Suzuki after... a long time!
Trying to decide, 1.4 Boosterjet or 1.6?
Dual colour preferable, Burnt orange/black, Blue/black or Grey/black.
Would appreciate learned comments on both versions.
Models from between 2015 - 2018
Cheers all.

Welcome to the forum, sorry I can't help much unless it's got cart spring suspension but we do have a few GV owners on here that might be able to advise.

Hiya matey, welcome back.
Go for the 1.6 , that's my opinion.
Boosterjet, not knowing much about them , I cant say much, but I never like the idea of a turbo in a car that has plenty of power as it is.
Black is a badass colour, that would of been mine first choice of colour.
Anything else , just ask .

I looked at the stats and the boosterjet is slightly more powerful, but has marginally worse fuel economy. It'll be more expensive to fix if something goes wrong, and I think they're a bit more spendy to buy in the first place.

I think Dominic has a point, the 1.6 may be the better car. No-one buys a Vitara as a sports car, the 1.6 is probably more than enough. Have you had a test drive in both?
