Is it an SJ413/Samurai, or an SJ410?

sj410
I know that the 410 gear box will not fit and i will have to get a 413 gear box and fiy wheel and clutch pos a prop shaft

Well with a 410, you will have to swap the gearbox anyway, so you could go either way really
413 gearbox, clutch, prop, etc...
or
vitara gearbox, clutch... I think the vitara method would probably be more work... but better
only thing is though I think they are reasonably different in ratio.
Scott, isn't that the setup you have? Vit engine+gearbox and a SJ t-case?

Close! I have a vit gearbox, modified vit tbox and Sj tbox
the easiest option is deffo a 413 gearbox but.......
Someone else asked exactly the same question on Monday have a look here to save me typing it all up again!

oh and you only need a prop if you have skinny props on your 410. From around 84ish onwards all 410s have the larger props.
