My new and improved rear tub

Post by Henry » Tue Apr 05, 2011 5:14 pm

Dropped the sj of at boarder trailers yesterday, and asked Ron to make me a back for the sj.

The brief was

- Chequre
- Must have access to the fuel tank (lockable)
- Not to look too agricultural

Next day it was done

Well it fitted the bill but was a bit to shiny, so keeping with the colour scheme....

Looks smart, nice one. I think I'd have done it blue or left it bare myself but whatever
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Well keeping with my reduce, re-reuse, recycle method, with the panda project....

Take one VW T25 camper door seal, cut it to length, a tube of super glue and you get this (note you need more than one tube of glue ;) )
