Main stealer cv joints

Post by ferris » Sat Apr 30, 2011 5:37 pm

Went into Suzuki main stealers today to get a price for a couple of cv joints. They only sold them with the half shafts attached.

Drivers side £290

Passenger side £340

I only payed £300 for mine aswell.

I'm thinking at the moment, with all the bits i need it might be cheaper to buy another SJ and strip it for parts  .

I've been thinking the same, but the problem is that bits I need that are costly will be buggered on other SJs too.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Don't steal our SJs, we've not got many left ;)
