hi there i just bought another sj :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: , and im just wondering are the plastic tanks road legal if its all bolted in properly , before i go and splash the cash to buy one :lol:

Why wouldn't they be legal? The car has no fancy evaporative emissions systems and all newer cars have plastic tanks.

agree with Christoff

cant see any reason why not when most new vehicles have them.

is there any kind of standard/approval mentioned on the manufacturers website?

I want to get a plastic tank but I want one that goes where the current one is. As in, a plastic reproduction of the metal one I've got. It would solve my blockage problems permanently.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
