Arches

Need to remove the arch flares for welding. Before i do so i ned to source some new ones to put back on

Tried loads of places and failed, i want some plastic replacements and not land rover ones.

Its a samurai

Whats the best thing to do?

erm, i'd say your best bet is to find an sj in the scrappy with some good ones or to try and repair the ones you have if they are too rusty, sorry that's probably not what you want to hear but SJ body panels are so hard to source in the UK like you have already found out, it's a shame really as they still make brand new variations of the SJ body in some countries!

Seen loads of pics of sj's with good arches so there out there.

oh sorry I thought you meant the lips that the arches mount to. just keep an eye out on ebay and I'm sure you'll find some arches easily enough

Well I'l most likely need both but I'l repair the lip that it mounts to if it's rusted away.

There were some on ebay a while back.

Ill search through completed listings and see if I can find out if they sold.

You might have to re paint them though...

They look a bit narrow wouldn't suit the samurai IMO.
