SCUK Sussex Meetup

Post by twiss » Wed Sep 28, 2011 5:04 pm

Howdy y'all! :cowboy::

Seeing as though we've had a sudden influx of Sussexers in here we thought we should have a Sussex members meet in run up to the SCUK December Nationwide meet!!!

Please express your interest (or dis-interest) here!

We were thinking towards the end of October...
I was really looking forward to the Team Chaos CORE meet and now need something to look forward to otherwise my Zook will never get finished haha

The dates and sites we were looking at are as follows:

Slindon Safari (near Arundel) - 23rd October
Picadilly Wood (near Burgess Hill) - 6th November

Slindon has a better mix of easy and difficult stuff for the "beginners" amongst us, but Picadilly is more central.
I would advise against Piccadilly unless everyone has aggressive mud terrain tyres!

You just have to stay out of the water unless you have a snorkel!!!

... an electric fan helps as well. I've only got a rear axle breather on at the minute, will have so sort that out!

I personally think piccadilly might be a little rough, tom can't your dad just park on the road? then drive the truck in from the road?
