gearbox help needed samuarai 413
hi just brought a sj 413 samurai and 1st outing gearbox has completley gone with no warning where can i get a replacement and will any other gearboxes fit straight on or will i have to find the exact model as mine cheers

In what way has it gone?
Might just be the springs or pin in the top part if its just hard to find a gear.

I was going through a mud pit and the gears just stopped working i can put the gear stick in any gear and nothing will happen there was a smell of like burning clutch as this happened any ideas ?

Ive had the pin in the top of the gearbox that holds the shift lever central snap on me but I could still get 3rd and 4th.
If you push the clutch up and down you should be able to hear a difference in tone as the engine takes up the extra load and spins the input shaft on the gearbox.
That will prove the clutch is still functioning.
I know it sounds silly but are you 100% you didnt knock the transfer box into neutral?
