I need new hubs.
I have managed to get the damn thing into lock by taking it to bits & putting back together in locked mode. Really useful for the weather we are having here on the East Yorkshire coast.
So, do I stick with manual or replace with auto? Are the autos more trouble than they are worth?

I would stick with manuals, then you KNOW they are locked when you have locked them and vice versa

What do you mean when they worked? It's very rare for a set to break. I've had mine for 6 or so years and apart from needing a clean and regrease on the odd occasion they've been fine.turbo-tom wrote:i had manual they was good when they worked but i took them off!

I had the asin ones and i cleaned and regreased them best i could after each trip out of off roading. but one trip i came back and one of them was completly locked on solid etc so i just took them off and have the solid lock ones i guess now i still have them in my workshop with all the cone washers so might just sell them spares or repair!ScottieJ wrote:What do you mean when they worked?
