1600 is in, adaptor plate is on, gear box all bolted up lovely, just sild together.
Made a few final adjustments to fit it, engine mounts etc.....
Finally got round to seeing if it would move itself again and everytime i press the clutch a get a griding noise. Any ideas?
I've full adjusted the cable just about and i'm getting no drive.
Could it has anything to do with the thickness of the adaptor plate?

Haven't sorted it yet but have had a brain wave to undo and move the clutch arm.

Gonna be a gear box back out job. I have a terrible feeling due to the thickness of the adapter plate, 5mm, the clutch and gear box aren't meshing properly.

I can't really see that the adapter plate would be the cause of the problem as its only about 2-3mm thicker than the normal spacer, I've not heard about anyone having issues while running an adapter plate?

I replied to this earlier but my signal was too bad. Only said the same as Scottie anyway RE the spacing of the plate.
Dont know if it physically fits the wrong way but is the clutch plate in the right way round?

My father says he thinks the clutch plate is in the wrong way around listening to the vid.
