Anybody running a RS full float?

Just wonderin is anyone is running the RS kit.

Any good?

Mike and Silverzuk are, I've got one that was abused for a few years by Tim pink on his racer and the shafts look fine.

Mine is going on as soon as possible.

Know if anyone has had oil leak issues?

I heard theres no oil seal on them?

silicone the drive flange and cap and there should be no issues. That's all that you do on a land rover axle.

Has Rockwatt got his sorted yet? - I am in th process of collecting all the bits required to do this mod.

In a word, no.

Not sure on the silicone. Once the oil gets as far as the bearing it'll wash the grease out, won't it?

I presume regular stripping and greasing would be advised?

Well regular stripping and greasing is needed anyway when you offroad :lol: water always finds its way in :lol:

I may have to bite the bullet and order one soon.

Not sure what RWs plans are. Probably wait till i destroy the current bearings.

To be honest It wouldn't be hard to add an oil seal, all you need to do is machine up a holder that goes in where the old bearing would like so, I'm pretty sure there is a good surface for a seal to run on the RS shafts there.
