Bank Holiday Mud-Day

Post by rory-ray » Mon Aug 26, 2013 5:31 pm

Well, went to work this morning and the collage im currently working in was closed for the day, so I decided to go out in Suzi.

Rang a few of the lads up and they all went banger racing, so I thought F it ill go out by myself. It was a good day, nice to be back in the offroad seat again.

Then it was going soo well that I got a bit brave, and got stuck on a stump on a drop off, it almost made me go top over tail, having no recovery gear or phone signal my options were limited, no one was around to help, and nothing I could do to free her, I swallowed my pride and took the hour walk home, got the bora, went down b&q and bought a £5 saw, drove down parked up about 2 mins walk from the woods, and dangerously cut the stump out the way and allowed the vitara to roll safely into a bush. I Then drove her home, parked her up, grabbed my bmx and rode back to the bora, and drove her home!

Sounds really crap don't it? I really enjoyed it haha!

Heres some pictures.

The dangers of going out alone. At least you weren't too far away and got home safely.

Yeah your 90% of the time guaranteed to get stuck when your alone, just one of those stupid things I guess, I kick myself for not taking any recovery gear with me, I always used to have a saw and axe for times like this.

But one of those things I guess, you live and learn at least it wasn't pissing down with rain and no one decided to strip my vitara for me!
