Laning at Hollins Clough 18-8-13

Post by Ladaman » Wed Aug 28, 2013 12:14 am

Well we had a great day, but a video disaster.

There was just me, Wilky (Wilky's nephew Tyler) & Stevie out playing, but some GREAT lanes, thanks for leading the tour Wilky.

I got some great shots on a lane with a serious camber going on, so serious my high wheels lost grip and started spinning, I've never been stuck due to no weight on two wheels due to the camber before!!

I've even "lost" the bit where Wilky's CV joint snapped. BUMMER.

So I haven't really clipped anything out of what seems to work.

For those of you who haven't been to Hollins Clough, you really must!! It's mental!!

That must be a drive for you from Huddersfield? Looks pretty difficult though, have you got directions/post code?

Yeah it is a bit of a jaunt. You dont realise how bumpy the Strines are until you drive them in an SJ. I will try to find some grid references for you.

You will have to bring some of the lads up and we could do a P&P one day, and some lanes another.

This is a video from a while ago of the same place, but with external footage, and we DO go back up!!
