first car i've owned with number plates
Only posting this here as I like the forum
But sold the sj and was going to get a road legal one but this came along and I really doubt I would have got an sj in the sane condition for how much I payed for this
So the plan is work on it over the next year to get it as clean can get it
Then when I past my test she will hopefully be my first car
So she's a series 3 landrover ex RAF I did get told she was a was made in 73 and was registered in 88 so that meant she would have been tax exempt as of next year or it was this year can't really remember but went to pick her up and found out she's an 82 and was registered in 88 its a shame but oh well
Only one problem there no engine so its like I've gone a few steps forward. And a few back the sj had an engine but v5 this has a v5 but no engine
But a nice man at my dads work has three series 3 his own and 2 parts cars as he's in the middle of doing a re build and putting a 200tdi in his
So I have the choice of 3 engine
Got a nice pair a leather seats for 20quid
Got a 90 front bumper made it fit
Want to paint the bay before I put the engine in anyway
Son vs father
Always got to have music already got my stereo its on old Kenwood mask that i got given by my granddad before he pasted so ive had it for a good few years might not be the best thing but its got 2 amp outs and a 13 pin CD changer port but I've found on eBay a 13 pin to rca so I can plug my phone into it
Also got some free stuff in to minds to buy a bonnet support brace for the front and get a defender front on or find a proper stage one v8 front

At least you're staying on the best forum.
Tom seemed to find his lawn mowers alot cheaper to insure than a Zuk too.
