Most disc conversions use the SJ transmission drum handbrake and front calipers and discs for the rear conversion.
If set up properly the drum transmission brake works ok. If set up badly it's useless.
Fairly sure muddyzook do a rear conversion that uses rover calipers and can include a handbrake too.
Alternatively X-eng do/did make a disc transmission brake.

Ive got the twin handbrake drum setup on my 93 samurai... and I will be converting to rear discs and a prop brake! The drum prop brakes aren't that good, but then again neither are my ones!
I'd rather have proper disc brakes all round and a rubbish hand brake though...

Like wise, I have the rubbish transmission brake and my disc brake kit is in a workshop 200miles away. I must go to Andys one day soon.

The prop handbrake works alright if it's adjusted properly. I may or may not have done the occasional handbrake turn in mine.

thats the benefit of mine... it loves handbrake turns (until the shoes get un-adjusted and the handbrake turns crap)! although saying that, who needs to handbrake turns when you have rear wheel drive?!?!?!

When I'm parking rather than cornering.

You don't take yours for a monthly mud bath
