The bitsa zuk
The bitsa zuk
So I have this kicking around
Purchased as a mates girlfriend wanted a standard one.
So I started to de modified this one then she changed her mind.
Plan is to use up all the standard parts and spares
I have left over from previous breakers.
Cleans out the workshop and leaves me with a cheap sami.
On closer inspection it appears its had a little nap on its left side
So things need a bit of jigging around the door. Its pretty solid until I found a few holes.
Overall a tidy little motor.
Its current state

Yea should do. Only need it while the tin top gets
Welded and sorted.
Its got 47k on the clock but the paints blistered and flaked
On the rocker cover. Worried its maybe got a bit hot recently?

This thing keeps getting holy-er
So I cracked on with the bit that alot of sjs suffer with. And its an awkward area To rrepair.
Realistically the body could be lifted off or just up a bit And the area
Plated over. Im not taking the body off and Im not a fan of plating over stuff
And I hate welding upside down. So ive gone in from the top.
Nice and easy really. Centre punch all the spot welds And drill them off.
Theres two underneath in the tunnel.
Then either side is an inch of mig weld. Simply drill round the edge of the weld with a series of
3mm holes close to each other then open them up to 4.5.

Do actually spend time anywhere but your workshop?

What are your plans for it when you get the tintop all done?
If it ticks over...leave it
