wheel colour

Post by timwilks13 » Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:09 am

now i have just over half the SJ painted im looking to do my wheels whilst im on with it, the photos dont show it but it looks like postman pat has had a special moment all over the car, its bright bright red. From what i can tell i think its a very similar colour too James' sj.

Im not a fan of red and white SJ's, just personally, so should i go with black, red, or some other colour i havent considered?

The front is the new colour, and the back is the old (soon to be the new), picture doesnt quite show how bright it is.

Anthracite grey or hammered black hammershite would look good, just always use a good etch primer with hammershite, I've found it doesn't chip off if you do.

I might paint my Lwb hammered black.

i like the idea of the seperate wheel and tyre colour, which would rule out black, but i dont like white, so im toying with going in hammered black with a red line painted round the rim edge
