Re: **WANTED** Suzuki Samurai 1996

Hi Guys, with talk on here of non-off roaded SJs being as rare as hen's teeth would anyone like to value my 1986 SJ413 in close to mint condition, never offroaded. Three owners: my sister 15 years,my friend 10 years and myself one year. lmported from Holland, original bill of sale (around £7000) 63,0...

Re: Going Topless !

Hi Tramp, l don't have those on my SJ. No progress on the Windjammer at the moment, too many things going on. lt would need the Samurai roll bar fitting and it wouldn't be waterproof anyway. Will look into having a piece sewn in on sides and top edge to locate it in the body hoop each side when l can ...

More Topless Pictures

l took these pics this afternoon especially for you Tramp ! lt recommended fitting it in 70 degrees+ to help stretch the fabric, now it has been 80 degrees in my wooden garage the last two days so l put the velcro strips on first,(very powerful adhesive backing) and the next day, fitted the cover. lt ...

Re: Going Topless and Roll Bars

Thanks for the idea Tramp. l think a modified hood,or a new one using the guide slots on each side of the original body hoop to create the Windjammer would help to keep the weather out,an alternative would be a nice chrome plated original roll bar !

Re: Going Topless !

Hi Hugh and Tramp, the fitting instructions called the roll hoop a 'sports bar' shown on a Samurai which is the only model they cater for.l would say it is the standard hoop fitted for the American market and others but not for the UK Altogether, with shipping and import taxes, they have cost me £238 ...

Going Topless !

l took advantage of the hot weather on Sunday to take the hood off and go for a spin, not literally l have to say. The only problem is the buzzing headlamp relay which l will look at next weekend. Here are some pictures l took on Sunday. Tramp mentioned seeing some clip on covers for the SJ some time...

buzzing noise under dash

l turned on the ignition on my sj413 and the headlights came on, but they were a bit dull, also there was a relay buzzing under the dash, passenger side. The buzzing stopped when l turned on the side or headlights. l hadn't run it for 3 weeks. Any ideas what it might be ? craggy.
