Well it’s been a good 9 years but I am still alive. The SJ hasn’t seen the light of day in that time, so the sad decision has been made to break it. I have however brought myself a Mitsubishi shogun sport, modded with funds raised from the SJ.
Shout them up guys and gals, this rounds on me!!

I know there are atleast two different fuel senders on a SJ, but the jimny one looks a lot like the one on my SJ, I just didn't want to wee wee the best part of £50 on something that won't work/fit!

Right boys and girls! Will a jimny fuel sender fit a standard sj tanks? As the jimny senders are a lot easier to find and a lot cheaper!

Reverse Light switch
When dropping my gearbox i have snapped the wires to the reverse light switch. Will a 410 switch fit my 413 as the 410 switches are more readily available!!!

Have done som remembering and its not longer shackles you need, it is banana shaped ones!if you look at the back of your zook there should be a role of metal behind the shackles! this is to stop your shackles moving to far and ur leaf overflexing! because of the different profile of the rascal sprin...

When I done this i made some extended shackles think they are about two inces longer than the standard shackles and they work fine! as for RUF i looked at this, but my welding skils arent up to the job so i got an ad-a-leaf kit from Dave at llama4x4, along with some shiny new longer braded brake hos...

Sounds like it is just your bearings, as twiss sed, just one set of bearings to change, but probably best to do both sides in one go! but definatly get them done! i had a bearing go on me once, fortunatly i pulled over in time, wheel only fell of when it was being ratchetted down to the tow truck, b...

Another way to tell if your truck is spanish or jap, spanish have square indicator/light stalks, a cronic rust problem and plenty of electrical gremlins , japs have round indicator stalks! hope that helps and it not to late.
