Re: Project Bodge

But i think 31s maybe the limit. Looking at your photos uve chopped more out. Any chance u can borrow sum 33s of anyone down ...

Re: Samurai Remodelling
What old one. I keep meaning to take a photo of the piles of rust i keep accumulating. Everything from the first small silencer has gone. I never cut it off, it hasnt been removed to make work easier. I just swept it up and binned it. All things going to plan I'm going for a powerflow stainless stac...

Re: Weber Carb
I believe its something to do with being down draft and the position of the float chamber. I hav read there is a mod to sort it. Again all official weber stuff and costly. Because of the design of the SU it doesnt flood or starve vey easily. Webers may be better for power improvements. But im defina...

Re: Weber Carb
Id go SU. As ferris says weber cuts out going up hill. If u fit it backwards it cuts out down hill. SU is easy enuf. Although my fuel pump had seized and it took sum messing about to get going. Wasnt too hard to set up once i go it running and there are plenty of places to get SU carbs and adapters....

Re: Project Bodge
Thats some serious patching going on there but the welding looks spotty dog, considering you havnt been doing it that long. Presuming there fatboy wheels.
What size tyres are you going to?
Good to see another build progressing. Cant wait to see photos as u get it bolted back together.

Re: Samurai Remodelling
Too late for that now. Its all tacked back together, just gotta put a couple of plates in behind where the head lights are then its sorted. Apart from bashing the bent bits roughly back into shape. The arch extensions are 4.5inches and just come out to the edge of the tread. Once i edge them they wi...

My other, other Zuk
This is the other, other Zuk and my current daily drive. A '58 GV. Nothing too special. Chrome, Shiny bits, 20" rims and tyres i'm too scared to get a price for. It has the latest 1600 in it which feels like it still develops mid 90's power and is appalling on juice 27mpg ish.
