hi has anyone removed the cat from there sj, and did it make any difference to power/mpg, thank you

yes it has its a 95 fuel injected model

If the vehicle came with a cat it has to be fitted for the MOT or it will fail even if it passes emissions, Removing it might free up a tiny amount of power but not much and you'll have to put it back on for MOTs

thank you for the advise it feels like the engines being choked and on hills I have to change down gears, iam running a standard engine, rock lobster, 215 80 15 tyres, so thought that the cat may be blocked
