Re: Kawazonkey
My neighbour has a Mito, he bought it from a young lad and it had been used and abused, he thought he'd be able to turn it around quick and sell it on for a tidy profit, but it cost him a fortune, everyone he thought it was ok he'd take it out and something else would break. One time I Went through his wiring to find out what was stopping it from starting - it was a component that prevented you engaging the starter whilst the bike was running, he enquires about a replacement and a genuine one was £130 (it was the size of a relay) Although that horror story aside I've always liked Mito's much better than the aprillia rs125 (and an extra gear too if I remember? Yours is a 7speed?) another of my 'pie in the sky' ambitions was to own a Cagiva V-raptor, I loved the way the fairing hung down over the front wheel and the triangular clocks!

Re: Kawazonkey
Yep she's a 7 speed demon. Goes like the clappers...faster than my old 250LC ever was. Had a lot of work done to it...and receipts to prove it, front brake is violent to say the least but the rear needs new pads...not that I normally use it, just for pulling down a wheelie. If I can't find a 350LC or YPVS engine by the time Kawazonkey2 is finished I'll leave her as she is and sell it on. In the meantime it's now my daily ride when it's dry. Rode her home today..powerband kicks in at 9000 rpm, what a laugh!

Re: Kawazonkey
Just some pics of Mia...and Kawazonkey2 is coming along nicely...seat base being restored then I can put on the new cover. And the engine is out!
You get a lot of bang for your buck with this Cagiva...I think the Arrows exhaust is an add on, but Marzy usd forks and Brembo's on a 125? Amazing. Yes the bodywork is fubar but I have a ton of spares...and I need to tidy that garage!

Re: Kawazonkey
Those wheels look almost as shabby as the ones I have on my SJ...

Re: Kawazonkey
More stuff done. Engine all freshly painted, using some paint stripper on the panels as they should be ally. Seat cover is on and I think it looks the nuts! And a new carb and chain and sprockets arrived.
