You'd think he was Jeremy Clarkson...

SJs and Vitaras are having their wheels nicked left, right and centre around here which is why I opted for the cheaper option. And also the fact my road to off-road ratio is about 20:80, so how the truck is ON road doesn't bother me too much.
If I didn't have 2 other road vehicles, I'd want something a bit better, but the SJ is purely a toy.
That said, they weren't as bad as I've read. Fitted (Tubeless) and balanced up well, they've given me no road issues. No speed/death wobble, and the brakes still work very well.
I'd say they were noisy, but I can't hear anything over the engine and gearbox anyway.

I think Anton would agree, if it a toy get anything that's a copy of simex. So what if its noisy on tarmac turn the stereo up some more

Yup, my Simex clones rock. They're twice as good offroad as my old BFG MT's. For a pure offroad toy, I'm not sure there is a better tyre choice - although Mike says that Boggers are even better, I don't think you can get Boggers in a 31 or a 33.

I don't know if they are road legal, but in usa they run them on the road. they are available in 31*12.5 and 33*10.5, and also 33*12.5, as well as 33*14, and then 35" and beyond
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: Tyres for my SJ
Ive got Marix Puma's on my SJ, they came with it when I bought it. The Marix website says 80% Off Road and 20% On Road, I take it they are going to handle like Jelly on the Tarmac?

Re: Tyres for my SJ
Even if boggers were road legal I would not even consider it. Personally I would rather run simex style tyres than boggers if I wanted an extreme pattern.

Re: Tyres for my SJ
Well, the Symex pattern is doing well on my SJ, that's for sure. If/when I go 33's, it'll be the same type of tyre.

I have Special Tracks on mine and they are awful on the road but the compete opposite when out laning they just keep pushing me forward.
You get what you pay for with tyres.
Scottie you only have the Buckshots as they look like contain 'S' for Suzuki!
