Re: Strata florida???
Anton in August the rivers shouldn't be to bad unless there is a lot of rain, one of the trips I went on there was a standard vit on ATs that had no problems with water. But did get stuck on rocks a few times. Its not the most extreme lane but is long, and nice country. Did see a landy going the other way on its own but as we know that's not a good idea at any time.
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

That's 3, a good number in my book. More always welcome though peoples!
Just being cautious, besides, these things are always more fun in groups.ROBBIE wrote:Anton in August the rivers shouldn't be to bad unless there is a lot of rain, one of the trips I went on there was a standard vit on ATs that had no problems with water.

Re: Strata florida???
Cool! I'm pretty happy with the numbers so far. I'd like to see at least 3 vehicles for safety reasons, but maybe limit it to 5 or 6 at most for "tread lightly" purposes.
So if anyone else wants to go, we could still shoe-horn them in, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to have many more trucks.
I've invited one of my friends (Jack, the guy with the red Land Cruiser), but he didn't respond - I'm starting to think that's a good thing! Too many vehicles might upset people, and frankly Zuks are a bit too awesome. Don't want to make him feel too bad about selling his SJ.
Muahahahahaaaaaaa!

Hahah I wuld be upset if I was SJ Less and surrounded by them!
Wales is pretty 4x4 friendly, talking to ladaman today and he may be up for it and the hotel he recommends know all the local lanes are 4x4 enthusiasts themselves. Not like up here bloody ramblers!
Can't wait for it. My ears are going to be bleeding but will be worth it!

I've managed to get a whole week off. This will be the first time in 8 years I've had more than 1 day off...well looking forward to this. If Piglet 6 behaves herself at Billing I'm taking her!
