Newb from Suffolk..
Afternoon ladies and gentlemen..
My name is Buzz and I am a recovering Landyholic. I still have my 14th one outside but once I've got around to selling it I will look for an SJ to replace it. I've had a couple of SJs in the past, a 410 with a body and shackle lift etc about 8yrs ago and a 413 with less aggressive off-roading mods about 5yrs ago. I've really had enough of LRs now and miss the simple fun I had with my Zooks so am looking forward to getting out there in one again!
Right enough rabbit.. bring on the newbie flaming!

Welcome to the club you won't get flamed here........ just a little singed for owning LawnRovers! No not really if you have a Spanish SJ chances are it was made in the landrover factory, we just have that friendly rivalry, like siblings, or like England and France,
Anyway, glad you've made it, good luck finding a tidy SJ, I imagine most you find will have a certain amount of rust just make sure it's not terminal

Yeh I'll see what comes up and probably buy the first one with sills!
Hoping for a decent standard one to start with this time, just fit MTs and see how she goes.. I mostly only do laning nowadays so I probably won't need all the kit. We'll see.

Welcome to SCUK.
It all starts with fitting MTs then goes mental, even for laning. Some of them are pretty brutal!

Hi! Yeh I don't dislike LRs I've just been there done that over the years with Series', Defenders, Discos, Range Rovers etc and got bored with them. The other thing is I'm buying a house to renovate so I need to keep my off-roading costs under control, something you can't do with LRs!ROBBIE wrote:Hi had an SJ then moved to a landy and now got a Jimny. every time, couldnt have another green oval
