clunk sound
clunk sound
loud clunk sound front right wheel when i turn left or right slow
Re: clunk sound
Kingpins, wheel bearings, steering arm bushes, steering box loose, erm... best to get a mate to turn the wheel while u listen/look.
Or jack up that wheel and give it a wobble .. up/down movement is kingpins shot, left/right is bearings.

Re: clunk sound
If its while turning hard its more likely to be CV than anything else

Re: clunk sound
The 1.3 will fit but you will need a 413 or Samurai gearbox.
The engine mounts will need adjusting too.
If you are going to go through the hassle I would recommend fitting a 1.6 as its not much more work.

Re: clunk sound
There's a few things it could be but valve stem oil seals are a really common reason for smoking on those engines.
