The hub seals on mine were brand new. You have only got to park on a bit of an angle and there is nothing to stop the entire hub being filled with oil and no way for that oil to get out. It probably doesn't help that I do quite alot of miles in mine, probably about 600 miles in the past few weeks.
Got these oil seals for it now anyway, so they should hopefully solve it.

Mines a daily so it sees a lot of miles, good hub seals should keep the oil in, as said I've only had it leak after one of the seals was worn, considering I've been running it for over 2 years and 10k+ miles without shaft seals that's not bad going
Those seals look like a simple solution for people that do have issues though. where are they from?

Nice solution, Ferris! I thought about finding a bearing that has an inbuilt seal and stuffing it in, but that looks far better.

They're just from eBay.
Turns out only one side of mine was leaking from the bearing seal. The other was leaking from the hub cover due to the bolts working them self's loose. So maybe I damaged the seal on the leaky side when I first installed it.

Might be worth checking the stub axle surface where the deal sits on the side that started leaking, could be pitted or rough causing the seal to wear prematurely?
I check my flange bolts quite often, last thing you want is them failing because they have come loose!

I've noticed quite a few stub axles get pitting and wear on that seal face.

That could very well be the problem. I know at least one of mine has some damage on the surface from a previous battle trying to remove a broken bearing.

I have plenty of spare stub axles if you need one
