Great work, so tidy, it really makes a difference taking the body off and turning it over doesn't it? I did mine upside down in situ, you've made a really good job of it,

Cheers slim.

Tramp- it makes a huge difference. Alot easier upside down and quicker too. I think youve done a great job on yours and your is such a tidy motor, taking the body off probably would have been overkill.

This sami however is / was a proper shitter. But its getting there now. And i can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Plan for tomorow is to complete the inner footwell panels and both
Middle body mounts finished. Then cap the cills and move onto the
Rear archs. Im going to redo the first arch i done as it wants cutting
Back further.

Amazing work!
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Ok the weldings getting boring now.

Lower floors done. Need to flip the body back over as im going
To build a new rear floor and tubs. Rather that patching it all up.
No pictures as im not overly happy with it. Its solid and does the job and the rot is all cut out. Just im not happy with the finished
Result and know i could do better but id take ten times longer.

Seem to be fighting with gas at the moment. Ive moved to argon/co2 mix. I used one 9ltr bottle quite quickly but I had a wee leak from my reg, fix that and thought id maybe had it up a bit high aswell. New bottle yesterday so tweaked the reg right down and it blooming ran out today! Somethings not right.
Ive always just set my gas by ear and ive never gone through gas this quickly before. I cant think of anything ive done differently.

Nice work dude, I'm sure your work that you aren't happy with is still loads better than a lot of welding done on cars nowadays

Sounds like you still have a leak somewhere to be running out that fast.
