I wouldn't jump it of a running car is it might fry the electrics because of too much current, it happened to me with my eton quad and i had to buy a new cdi and stator for it. It could be the starter as i had a similar problem with my quad, the solenoid just clicked so i put a new starter on and it worked, have you jumped it straight to the starter to eliminate it? Does it bump start?

Palo thanks, won't be doing that. I was going to use a jump pack or battery on it. Haven't done much really, thought I would try to get some advise as didn't want to cause any damage.
I was going to try to get to the starter, to check all connections and the condition of it. As said its the first time it's seen mud, so hoping it's just needs cleaning.

For the last three years it has pulled boats up and down a beach, so sea water and sand, but I showed it a wet field and a little mud and it now won't start
Quadzilla are actually distributors who brand quads from various Chinese makers, some are good, some aren't. I had a Quadzilla X8 for a while last year which are made by CF Moto - quality was pretty good considering they're half the price of the Japanese or American equivalent.

Cheers, I had no idea of that. I think this is a 54 plate, I have no idea of the model, all the stickers are bleached or missing and it just looks well rough

Do you have any pics? I have a 250e and plenty of spares so might be able to help you out.

The quadzilla stinger, barossa cheetah, apache, ram and smc 250e are all the same. Taiwanese made with good strong honda 2cylinder engines. Lots of upgrades and spares available online.

Cheers, but was told it's a 500. If it's good on the weekend I'm going up to have a look will post a pic and hopefully get it going
