2006 GV DDiS Remote Locking stopped working

This week the remote LOCK from the keyfob stopped working... The UNLOCK still works OK so its not a fuse problem. The problem can be seen with both keyfobs, I replaced the battery on one and cleaned out the dust and fluff from the fob itself, but no change.

The problem must be at the receiver end in the car... But what/how to check?

Everything works fine on using the key in the door, so the central locking is working.

Any ideas anyone?

I know yours is an later model than mine but, if my door switch does not work (operate interior light) properly it thinks your still in it and won't lock. This happens occasionally on mine, the door switch is like new so it may be a glitch in the body control module, I don't really know. When it happens I just open the door and ping the switch and close and remote lock .
There is a remote receiver unit that sends a signal to the body control module which in turn operates the central locking motors but I can't tell you how to test it
