Su Carb breather

What is the opinion on the breather pipe on a Su carb on a SJ should it be blocked , left open ,connected to engine breather pipes etc. I have seen various pics with different setups. Thoughts please

Personally i think it should be connected to the breather system surely? but if you're leaving it left open make sure its filtered

Mine is blocked off, there is still a breather on the modded manifold that goes to the breather on the rocker cover.
