What size diameter fuel line please?
HI All, Just got a new tank/pump etc and measured the diameter of the existing fuel line and it is 7mm, all the ones I've found online are 6mm or 8mm, which size should I get? I'm going to get braided hose too from front to back so any recommendations would be great please... Thank you....

Re: What size diameter fuel line please?
I replaced my tank, pump and lines last year, I used SAE J30 R6 reinforced Nitrile pipe from eBay seller hoseconnect, but their shop is not live at the moment.

From the tank to the original mid section steel pipe, I believe I used 5mm ID x 12mm, in the engine bay the pump uses 2 sizes, 6mm x 13mm and 8mm x 15mm.
Just to add, this is all from memory mind

Thanks all, need another shopping spree!! Why all the different sizes I wonder? Would the flow of petrol be affected using different sized bores? I'll just use 8mm from front to back...

Pretty certain a small difference has no effect on fuel flow.
If I recall, the hose in the pic above on the right going to the carb was 1mm smaller ID than the stock Suzuki orangey brown hose, works just fine
