New owner of 1994 Samurai

Post by jonnosmith » Mon Feb 04, 2019 6:29 pm

Hi, New to these little 4x4 s,
Recently purchased a Samurai. Solid chassis but in need of wheel arch repairs, water /mud trap I guess,
Question
Are the arches on all SJ 413 the same,,, size/ geometry?
Or are arches on the Samurai different ?
And are the arches and inner arch available??
Cheers
Jon

Welcome to the site.

The main body tub is identical on all Suzuki Sjs from 84 onwards. only difference is the sill cobver and arch mounts but these are just spot welded on.

It's pretty hard to find panels but there are sellers in other countries. quality isn't great from some of them though.

Got a bad oil leak from behind the engine up top.

Should be able to get one from any motor factors, if not check with Suzuki, might be a little pricey from dealers mind. I'll see if I can find the part number

Actually scrap that, pretty sure it's just a standard O ring, take it out and measure it, get a new one from anywhere.
