Hi there,
As Dan says, any good motor factors can supply the gaskets needed for the head and Suzuki can still supply the rest I'd imagine.
However, there are some bits you'll not be able to do properly, like skim the head a little and hone the bores, so you'll have to take the block to a machine shop, also, youll need to re-grind your valves etc.
Alternatively you could get your engine rebuilt by a professional for about £450. I chose this option and I'm quite happy with it. The price of this dropping the tall engine off bare - ie:without manifolds etc - I don't think was too bad and I picked it up 3 days later, stuck it back in and hey presto!
The cost of taking the block to the machine shop and getting the head skimmed along with new valve seals and a regrind kit, bearing shells, oil seals etc can not be too far off £450 when you look at it all closely, so it makes taking it to an engine rebuilder's a bit more economical. You get a guarentee too.
If you want to do it as a project then this will be good fun and you can learn lots doing it, but if you see it as a job that just needs doing, I think taking it to an engine rebuilder is the better oprion.
Hope this helps.
