Re: Coiled turqoise samurai
Thanks
Managed to do some more, one more weld on the rear shock mounts and its ready to be painted. Going to use por 15 on the chassis. Also need the underneath of body painting so it can go back together for the final time.

This may turn out to be the best SJ build I've ever witnessed (sorry Scottie!). Keep it up, buddy!

Re: Coiled turqoise samurai
Anton, such flattering comments, i thank you. Scottie is the main man and the body wouldnt be what it is without Andyrew's hard work.
Thanks Tim, progress hasnt been as fast as i hoped but i have been busier at work during covid, no break for me, and iv enjoyed my white sj as much as i can. Iv also ended up buying another 2 motorbikes aswell during this time, 14 vehicles! honestly i think i have a problem.
Anyhow, i dont know if i dare say it, but i THINK im ready to paint the chassis and axles, actually im telling a lie, theres a couple sharp edges i wamt to round off first.
Im going to have to pull it off the ramp for a week or 2 though whilst i prep the green one ready for scotland at the end of the month.

Not an update but a pic none the less. Its currently sat in my suzuki line up, you can see how it looks next to both spoa sj's and its still only a shell

Havent had chance to do anymore. My next job is rubbing down and painting, the body could do with painting before i bolt it all together for the final time
