There isn’t always a copper washer.
Depending on the year it might be a tapered thread plug so it would be worth checking before ordering anything.
If it does have a copper washer (original was aluminium) I think they are 20.1x27mm
Tbh I rarely change them unless they actually start leaking…but that’s pretty rare
Anybody know the dimensions of the copper washer on the drain plug of the gear and transfer boxes?

Never a sign of one,but recently had the oil changed in both and now slight weeping of oil from the gearbox. I'm getting a new clutch on Tuesday so thought it might be worth getting them fitted as it's an MOT fail here in Spain.

Thanks Scottie doubt I'll find any. Tried the local Suzuki dealer yesterday but nothing. To stop the weeping would a couple of turns of PTFE on the threads work,or will the oil break it down?ScottieJ wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 12:58 amThere isn’t always a copper washer.

I might have stated the wrong with size (don’t believe everything you find on the internet) anyway but yeah ptfe tape will work. The tapered style plugs without a flange have ptfe on to seal.
