went down the local scrappy to find an exhaut manifold and electric fan, came across an swift gs i believe saw the seats in there and decided to treat the little sj. wasn't til i got home and loked at some of all of your posts on seats that i found out there were gti . For a quick install looks as though drilling new holes in the floor could be done although would look a messy as doesnt sit nice and sqaure on the floor.. Best bet is going to be to make up some frames for the gti seats for the original runners to go on. Any one done this, any do's and dont's. there is one bit thats got me stumped, were the runners goes it isn't attached to the base of the seat but run alond parral attached to the level mech for folding the chair. will this need to be secured to the new fab frame. picture three might help explain

Re: gti seats
The runners unbolt from your old seats and, if i remeber correct the runner on the left (in the bottom picture) stays were it is and the one on the right moves to the raised area (to the left of the original runner), I drilled the new holes in the seat base and nut and bolted them to the old runners, measuring everything with a tape measure to keep things straight, this means your new seats will do exactly the same as your old seats did, I.e the passenger seat can some really far forward so passengers get out on the curb
on my old swift gti seats (before the drivers side broke) they had the runners welded on, When I did the second set i couldn't weld so nuts and bolts
these were my old seats

Re: gti seats
I've just had a look at the bottom of my swift drivers seat.....
I'd forgot about the small plates i'd made up to support the bit that runs along the side
but they are easy enough to make,
