No, should run fine with this blocked off. Basically with a electric pump its redundent.

All the electric fuel pumps I read about say the pressure is regulated internally and they don't need a fuel return.
Of course I can't say yours is definately the same though, not knowing the pump.
The pressure of the pump for a carb system should be low anyway.

I've bought myself a new internal fuel tank and have been searching of ways to plumb it in and the answers were on here all along :doublethumbs:
Start with a pump like this? Ebay Item number: 290688074822

Don't forget to blank the hole. Oil makes a mess.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Thanks Darrell..The plumbing looks easy enough it's just the type of pump.
I think it was Henry that said earlier in this thread that a Facet solid state 3-5psi pump would be best.. The pump item number above is for a 3-4.5psi and others I'm looking at are 4-6psi.
Which is best?

Not sure what the best pressure would be :er: .
Sorry about the diagram, it's a bit much really. It's simply enough but it looked like "smalljeep" connected the supply from the pump straight back to the fuel tank :S .
Well I had fun learning how to loose the background from a photo and then post it over a diagram.
I'm easily pleased :screwy:

I would think any of those would be suitable, even the cheap one. Though the genuine Facet pump Twiss used may be worth the extra money.

All you need in the copy paste for ebay is the number. If you leave the rest it won't work.
IE: [fleabay] 400292713113 [fleabay]
