My new shock to test...

Post by twiss » Thu Mar 01, 2012 3:24 pm

Woooo! New shocks!

I've borrowed these off my mate to see if it will fit on! They are pretty much the same length as my +2" shocks, and they have ring connectors on both ends so they will be perfect for the back!
(You can also get them with a ring and a bolt, like the front of the SJ)

Gonna try it for size tonight

I thought that! I may have got a spare moped shock kicking about in the garage. Only one mind, so you would have to fit it on the middle of the axle......

They are shocks for a vw beetle originally.
I know they look like they will be quite hard, but my springs are properly floppy now anyway.
I can compress the shocker about 1/2 way by hand.

I'll stick em on and see how it goes anyway. If I dont like em I can always put my regular +2" ones back on!
