Most motorist shops stock these http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0001K9UZU/r ... wo=&hvqmt= .
Not the best quality piece of kit but it worked well enough on mine. Got the shaft in first time "ooo err misses" :brows:

Why don't uk suppliers have an alignment tool in the clutch kit like many of the usa suppliers do. It's only plastic so wouldn't cost much, I'm sure most of would be happy to pay an extra couple of quid for it. This kit even comes with the pilot bearing. When I fitted mine I replaced the bearing but the gearbox shaft was slightly worn so it's a loose fit anyway

I use a 14mm socket with a bolt stuck in it on an extension :)

i havnt done my sj yet, but on my landcruiser i use a bolt and a socket, find a bolt that roughly fits into the spigot bearing, then a socket that fits into the splines, slide the socket into the splines and the bolt in through the socket and into the spigot bearing. its usually enough to get it to mate up.
