Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
i have suzuki super carry/bedford rascal springs on the rear of mine, with the original rear springs on the front with dislocating shackles, give it about 2" on the rear, not sure about the front maybe 1.5" but im not happy with the font setup yet, needs some offroading probably followed by some moding.

Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
is it a straight swap for rascal springs ??
Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
on the back you either need to make/get some banana shackles to bend round the stopper, or just angle grind it off, I haven't fitted them to the front, but they are the same length as the rear ones, so you would either need to move the chassis end mounting point, or make some dislocating shackles to go on the shackle end.
I have my original rears on the front with dislocating shackles and i am about to bin the shackles and get some lifting springs as i hate how it handles on road with them.
Hope that has helped

Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
have you any pics of the dislocating shackles ??
Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
I can get some up sometime in the week.
My dislocating shackles are very crude and home made, basicly a anus cherokee shackle mounted to the chassis, then from the bottom of that my original shackles join my spings to the cherokee shackles, as i sed very crude, probably not safe, but if i put the time in and sorted them properly they would just be ok, but i just plain dont like the set up.

Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
ive just seen a blog (is that the right word!) on differs. suggest using the whole set of leafs off a zuk with the top leaf ends cut off, then fixed to the top leaf off the origanal set. (does that make sense). what do recon guys.
Re: springs from another vehical(lifting)
a post?
you get the donor spring pack and your original spring pack, undo the bolts holding the packs together and remove the top leaf from the donor pack and replace it with the top leaf from your original spring pack then then put the bolt back through to clamp it all together. to make it a strait swap. never tryed it my self.
