new year plans?

Post by andyrew » Tue Jan 01, 2013 6:44 pm

so whats people plans this year, for their trucks?

ive got the yellow thing to finish for summer

my daily tin top needs some patches in the not so distant future and a respray.

and the pick needs a complete rebuild

its going to be a busy year, and maybe my last year of multi zook ownership. next year i will hopefully have a fair sized deposit saved so it will be time to be looking at buying my own place and 3 zooks needing attention and a skoda estelle resto , just wont be finacially viable

id love to keep my tin top and my pick up but i fear its going to be a case of one car being something boring and economical, :yuk:

so whats every ones plans?

Still got that power steering to fit. On the look out for some 15x10 wheels to clad in 33s. Hopefully a repaint back to the dark metallic grey for the Sami

May also swap to YJs on the sami and put the lift springs i just bought on the SJ or depending on rear spring length swap them to the pick up. So my old 31s can go to good use.

Be nice to make a start on the pickup strip down and shot blast.

Loads to do. Just gotta go back to work and make some more cash.

Jordi

Also rocklobster for the sammi and RW SU carb manifolds for the sammi and pickup.

I've devided my year into two parts immediate & not so immediate, immediately I'm going to collect a bull bar, get it powdercoated and then get it fitted, in the not so immediate future I'd like to get it insured & mot'd, I have some used spares id like to refurbished and some other odds & ends to fit

Enjoy it as it is and build a massive shed while waiting for something to break.
