Post by dannytrigger » Thu Mar 07, 2013 4:46 pm

Currently building up my full floating rear axle with 410 doner parts and rs mfg kit but have not got any calipers yet what are my options ? I have got a transfer box hand brake so dont need to worry about that.

Easiest is fronts on the rear and if you are worried about bias sawp to LWB vits on the front.

Dont know exactly how they tie in with the full float tho.

I have the same calipers all round 2 inch springs and 31s and drive like a idiot on the road and its fine.

cool just finding it hard to get my hands on a set of front calipers. was wondering if another more common option was available? not too worried about bias as its mainly for offroad anyway.

Jordi - just finished rebuilding some Aisin's - how much would you want for a pair so I have a spare set (just in case!)???

Don't really need 'em, just being greedy. :D

If your going down this line, try and get a set that are the same as your fronts, that way you only have to worry about one type of pad etc..

A spare set of pads never goes a miss, trust me I, I managed to lose a couple and ended up having to cable tie the front callipers to the cross member so i could carry on playing for the day :D
