not a bad price for a bag of sand! , Su carb they say is the best carb you can get for the 413/1.6 vitara 8v as it has good perfomance and they are good for reliability, although you need to change the inlet manifold/get your one modified. there a good carbs once set up right ,though the standard 8v carb is good anyway i never had any problems with mine :D

Thanks for that ,
I've only ever changed an engine in a mk2 escort so let's hope it's as straight forward changing this 13 to a 16!!!?? How much would you think I'd pay for a 1.6 lump and you say a vitara with mods is that the engine mounts?? I've had a look on this forum at engine change and seen some great pic and info
But it makes it sound easy !! I'm no mechanic but gonna give it ago!
The guy I got it from says it dose 60/65 comfortable will the 1.6 make it do 70/80 or
Just more power in the mud !
I'm after a full cargo roof rack for camping gear any ideas n don't wanna pay loads ??!!!
Thanks again

:welcome:
hope you will enjoy your new rig, looks awesome as it stands, how's the rust in it?
about the cargo rack, just weld one yourself that bolts onto the existing roof rails
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out
