teeth grinding not tried with out the plate but spoken to company that make the plate and they rekon they have never had a problem>?

If it was me id start from the begining ie take the engine out with the gearbox put it on the bench and bench test it all as one and keep on moving the starters until you get it righ then lower it all back in- just my imput

thing is i have had it out twice it works ok for bit then back to same old problem. lost hart with it now

Are you using new or second hand starter motors? What battery are you using? Is it fully charged? It's got to be something really simple.

fully charged batt. good contacts from bat to starter ect. i know and reaoy dnt wanna sell as i know some luckyso and so will spot the prob straight away!
