Bumpers

Post by madfishpaul » Sun Apr 14, 2013 8:17 pm

Hi,

Trying to refit a standard set of front and rear bumpers to my sami, does anyone have a photo of the rear bumper mounting position? I have a nasty feeling the previous owner may have removed them with an angle grinder :pissed: before fitting the aftermarket one... Or did the mounting positions vary from 410 - 413 or earlier years, mines a 1992. :S

If anyone is interested the aftermarket rear bumper will be for sale once I get the right one back on !!! :brows:

Its the rear version like this;-

If in doubt, get a bigger hammer...

Here is a diagram that is listed 90-95 model.
I know mine (87 model) has all the brackets (23,24,25) welded to the rear chassis rail , including half pipe extensions with the brackets 21-22 welded on.

I'm pretty sure my 92 Sammy doesn't have part 23, but 21&22, 24&25 are there & are bolted to the body
