Another wiltshire member!
Im scott! A week and a half ago I went in an SJ (Nylon Admiral on here) and loved it so last night I picked up my first SJ! The plan was that I find one with a few modifications that is a bit beat up so Im not too bothered about going down byways is I hit the sides or something like that so I did the usual thing and bought the opposite and got a standard one in really good condition with 41k miles on the clock haha! But dont worry I wont be scared to use it!
Went out in it last night and couldnt believe how good it was offroad in standard form! Went up anything I pointed it at! Just cant wait to go out sunday now with a few people from here!
Will get some pictures on here later!

Ha ha, I took Scott out just the other day and he got the bug instantly. Ten days later and he's got his own truck!
He popped round to see me in it last night and it's probably one the tidiest SJ's I've seen.

Looking forward to seeing the SJ on Sunday, sounds like you're going to want some bumpers and sliders to protect the bodywork, would reduce the likelyhood of dents as it would be a shame to ruin the straight bodywork It's pretty easy to keep them dent free laning though.

I dont intend to smash it up like on purpose or anything i just mean like im not to bothered about scratches and dings from branches and that. Biggest thing is there is no rust on it at all which is good! I will get a picture of mine next to Nylon Admirals on sunday! It is hard to belive his started life exactly the same as mine haha!OllieSJ wrote:If I was you if it's that mint but a trailer and a mot fail sj so u smash up the rust one and keep the mint one mint
Here is a picture of it, doesnt do it any justice becuase it is dirty from last night! Will get some proper pictures when it is cleaned up!

Welcome to the club bud.
As you've found the SJ bug is highly contageous. No cure either i'm afraid.
