20th Oct laning trip, in the south somewhere!

Post by ScottieJ » Tue Sep 10, 2013 2:05 pm

Thought I'd start a new thread to plan the next laning trip.

where shall we go, I would like to take a few guys out over bristol way but there's a lot of road driving between the lanes out that way so it's better suited to local guys and smaller groups.

Maybe Salisbury plain?????? or if people want to head up into wiltshire we can do the Marlborough/Lambourn downs. Unfortunately the ridgeway closes to vehicles on the 1st October for the winter.

Sign me up!

Some of those routes over by Marlborough/Lambourn are ace, but then again I haven't been over to any of the ones near Bristol so I don't mind going wherever anyone wants to go!

Of course Vits are welcome :hands:

There's a few fun byways around keynsham and radstock that I know of, well 2 now that the bottom section of ringspit seems to be closed  and then a few tame ones that are worth the odd visit.

I'm cool with the plains a good mixture of every thing some quite extreme stuff in places! I'm not sure how willing I am to travel to far for something on the tame side!
I'm going to try and find the location of hells lane if any one fancies a go at that there is a couple of YouTube vids of that! Quite extreme!

I'll be up for this  . Not sure you could make a day of it round Bristol though. I went round the Keynsham lanes at the weekend, there is a couple of ok ones but most have either been closed or graded.

Scottie I think you spelt 'south' wrong, its spelt 'north', just for future reference!
