suzuki sj410 gear and transfer box problems

suzuki sj410 gear and transfer box problems

started my suzuki sj410 project and cleaned it all down and started stripping it and looking ok.

Iv come across a problem tho and im not sure what it is i put my sj410 in to N on the transfer box and then put my normal gear in to say 1 to 5 and the gear box and transfer box shakes and vibrates any body have any ideas at all thanks sam

If its not accompanied by a load of noise then probably a bad mount on the transfer box or a tight UJ in the little prop between the gearbox and transfer box.

I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to really put the tbox in neutral and then run it through the gears, prob why your Tcase is shaking about :lol: but whip the intermediate prop out and check the UJs on it, if one has gone stiff that could cause this.
